Homework
➤ Work on final project
Continue to work on the essay you’ve chosen. If you want feedback on a draft, message me to arrange a Zoom meeting.
➤ Turn your “postcard from the present” into a poem
Turn your “postcard from the present” into a poem by cutting it up into separate lines. As you go, make any changes to the language you wish to make it “work” better as a poem.
Upload your poem to our Box folder. (I’ve created a new folder for the postcards-turned-poems — used that folder.)
➤ Be ready to talk about endings next class
Next class we’ll discuss the topic, “What makes a good ending?” Come ready to share your observations on the endings of “The Old House at Home,” “Orange Crush,” “Southern Summers,” “Mazie,” and “The Man Who Eats.”
