Go exploring! Use your eyes — practice your powers of observation. Try to capture what is interesting about your place, what gives it its personality. Some suggestions:

• Use good details, details that characterize the place

• Try to include at least one well-painted scene

Type up your scene of AB lobby. As you do so, revise it to make it as good as you can. Imagine you’re writing for a distant relative who will probably never come to DKU: How will you make them really feel “there” in AB lobby? How will you make them really feel like they know what kind of place DKU is?
